Chrisopher Dziok, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Chris Dziok is a board-certified Physician Assistant who works primarily with Dr. Banos in both the office and operating room. Chris graduated from Franklin Pierce University Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Medical Science degree. Prior to PA school, he received his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Colorado while working as a Medical Assistant in the urgent care setting.
Chris served as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy providing care in both office and austere settings, specializing in field medicine. He started by providing care for Officer Candidates in Newport, RI before transferring to a Marine infantry unit in Camp Pendleton, CA. There, he exhibited leadership and training skills operating as a Senior Line Corpsman to 5 junior Corpsman. After finding success in medicine, he transitioned to a Reserve SEAL unit to continue his service while attending his undergraduate university. He separated from the Navy under honorable conditions to attend PA school. Given the abundance of musculoskeletal injuries seen during his time in the Navy, he naturally gravitated toward the Orthopedic Surgery specialty.
In the office, Chris sees new and follow up patients, treating both acute injuries as well as managing chronic conditions. He performs joint injections and aspirations with ultrasound guidance as indicated. For patients pursuing surgical treatment with Dr. Banos, Chris serves as a physician-extender throughout the surgical process. He is the first assistant in the operating room for Dr. Banos' surgeries, and has first-hand experience of each patient's unique case. He conducts both preoperative and postoperative office visits for surgical patients. Chris is happy to answer any clinical questions regarding pre-operative clearance and testing, details about surgery, and the post-operative recovery and rehabilitation process. Along with Dr. Banos and the rest of the team, he aims to make every patient’s experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
