Dr Trask completed his bachelor of science with honors at the University of Guelph where he was a varsity athlete at the premier track and cross-country program in Canada. He completed medical school at Medical University of the Americas, where his clinical education was spread across the US and Canada - giving him broad cultural and health care system experience in both countries. He completed orthopedic residency at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, in Thunder Bay, Ontario which is amongst the highest volume joint replacement centers in Ontario, Canada’s most populous province. He completed his adult hip and knee reconstruction fellowship training at the University of Ottawa under guidance of world renown hip and knee surgeons. Here he gained extensive experience with the direct anterior approach to hip replacement, world-leading experience in hip resurfacing as well as additional experience in hip and knee revision techniques.
Born and raised on the ocean in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Dr Trask is very excited to grow roots in Massachusetts, his ancestral home. He brings with him three young children, his wife Allie and two dogs. He is an avid sailor and skier and all around sports fan. He has additional ongoing training as a ‘dance dad.’
